You can make a donation or bequest to the YWCA of Aotearoa New Zealand or to any member association for any amount.
Become a member
Your membership supports the work of the YWCA and its commitment to empowering women. Membership is for one year, the fee varies between local YWCAs. Contact your local local YWCA or phone or email the YWCA for more information.
Our YWCA Membership
The YWCA Membership is valid for 12 months. This means for a year you are part of the largest women’s membership organisation in the world. An organization that provides high quality programs and services. An organisation that responds to community needs, and is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of women and their families.
As a YWCA member, you will have access to the programmes and services of the YWCA. You will receive special member mailings throughout the year. You can take part in the in the governance of this association by becoming a volunteer or committee member. If you are a female & over 16 years of age you can vote at our Annual General Meetings.

Partnerships and Sponsorships
We have a range of programmes and services available, all of which offer exciting benefits for sponsors.
You can choose to donate to a specific programme, or to make a general donation to assist us with administration costs.
We offer a range of advertising options; in our newsletter, brochures and at events.
We are happy to partner with other groups and organisations to provide a particular service or programme in your community or organisation.
Volunteer with us
We have a large number of volunteer positions from presenters to receptionists, fundraisers to board members.
Word of mouth is the best way for us to get participants, donors, volunteers, sponsors… so tell someone about us!
We seek active partnerships and are happy to work with other groups and organisations to provide a particular service or programme in your community or organisation.
Participate – come in and use our services or attend one of our programmes.
We have fundraising events during the year. They are lots lot of fun and help us fund our organisation, so come along!
