Young Women’s Collective

Young Women’s Collective

Young women are one of the main focuses of the YWCA’s work. The Young Women’s Collective (YWC) are women aged 30 and under who are involved as staff and volunteers throughout the YWCA of Aotearoa New Zealand and are part of a worldwide organisation. The YWCA identifies the needs and wants of young women locally and nationally, and responds to those in different ways – through:

  • leadership training
  • governance training
  • focus groups
  • support networks, getting young women together
  • online discussions
  • scholarships & grants
